The M.S. Norweta owners, Greg and parents George and Margaret Whitlock, are all local northerners who were born and brought up on Great Slave Lake.

George Whitlock's mother was a northern native while Margaret Whitlock's mother was an Inuit from Hershel Island. Both mothers married early northern settlers and lived most of their lives in Hay River.

The Whitlock family has a strong pride in their native ancestry and heritage. Their main objective is to ensure your cruise adventure will become a treasured memory.
